Review:

This book is compilation of short stories that take place in Celestial Kingdom universe. Each short story is telling one’s character point of view. I really like every story in this book because it’s sooo beautifully written. The book is such a page-turning book! Once I read it, I can’t stop to read it.

The first story tells about Chang’e and Houyi’s flashback. From Houyi’s story, I just know that he actually felt guilty after killing nine sunbirds. But that’s all he needed to do so the world can return like before.

My favorite story is when Wenzhi becaming mortal and he met Xingyin.

“I would move the stars for you. I would defy them all.” — Wenzhi to Xingyin

I love how the author write Wenzhi’s character developments.

And from this book, I just know that Liwei is the one who helped Wenzhi to become a mortal. Sometimes I feel like Liwei’s heart is too kind for this world. He always wishes for Xingyin’s happiness and even let Liwei to meet Xingyin in mortal realm. But unfortunately, he doesn’t really match with Xingyin. I feel like they match only as best friends. So yeah I am #Team_Wenzhi.

To sum up, I enjoy reaidng this book. The world-building is great. The illustration is sooo beautiful. The prose is lovely. And the characters are stealing my heart. I give 5 stars for this book. <3 Y’all should read this book if you love xianxia genre!
